Mark and Jessie met in the kitchen 12 years ago and have been cooking together ever since.
Mark grew up in Whitby and graduated from Culinary Management in 2004 from George Brown College before moving to the area. Jessie grew up in Kawartha Park on Clear Lake and has been cooking professionally for the past 12 years. Together Mark and Jessie ran the Old Mill in Young’s Point for 6 seasons (2007-2012) and the Island Grill in Burleigh Falls for the summers of 2013-2014, finally
purchasing the Stoney Lake Market in 2015.
Together they have two beautiful daughters ages 6 and 3. Their business has grown and thrived through the support of their close family, friends, and their loyal customers. They couldn’t be happier to continue being on the lake and expanding beyond the kitchen at the Stoney Lake Market and Grill.
